  11. This message is kind of private since I don't tell people about my other two non-rett triplets but:

I just saw the video. Reminds me of when my triplets were that small..He is so cute and he is so aware the way he is looking all around checking things out. Keep focusing on all the good things, how he's eating more, getting closer to going home etc.. I know that's easy to say but it will help you get through. Give yourself one hour in the evening to grieve what you need to: dealing with procedures, health complications etc.. and then try to spend the rest of the time as positive as you can. That helped me in the NICU. I'd have to tell myself..wait until later for that one hour to vent, scream, cry or whatever I needed. The rest of the time was spent trying to see how much the staff cared, people in your life caring, your beautiful new son and beautiful daughter. And, yes, I had to grieve a second time when my son was diagnosed with developmental delays and other complications. Then the third triplet was then diagnosed with ADHD--a pretty severe case. At that point it was like: enough God, I can't handle anymore..can't I have one child without problems? That feeling passes as time goes bye as you already learned. Prayers are with you and your family. Don't forget to enjoy your new son and the bond he will have with his sister. Those two are going to be so tight just like my three who despite thier challenges love each other like no other siblings i've seen.
