Seriously....just when I think this kid can't get any cuter!
If you are reading this I owe you a huge apology! I have not posted in over a month. I am SOOOOO sorry! Life has been more than a little hectic lately and I just have not taken the time to sit down and write.
As far as a Boston update.....sickness has taken over our house. Both the kiddos have been since since Friday - we can't seem to shake it. Lots of snot - I mean really....how much snot can two adorable kids produce - LOTS! I do think we are on the upswing now though (I hope!)
The highlights of the last month:
Boston signed more in speech therapy
Boston said "mmmmm" for more in speech therapy
Boston has pretty much MASTERED the sippy cup
and do I dare mention he has started sleeping through the night? (PLEASE do not let me jinx myself for typing those words!!)
Now - if we can master the signs and some more sounds I will be one SUPER HAPPY mommy! I am just so proud of him - he works so hard. It is hard to believe that we are in "preparing for preschool" mode!
Next one the list.....the binky. own Syndrome moms, speech therapists - any opinion on this?

I was just thinking of you! You are so busy, I'm not sure you have time to watch a movie, but I just added the documentary Monica & David to my list on Netflix. It's about a young couple who are about to get married and they both have Downs Syndrome. I wasn't sure if you'd heard of it!

I'm an SLP and I think the sooner you can get rid of the binkie - the better! Especially if he is using his tongue to suckle. I'd try to get him to drink from a straw ASAP. Ask your SLP about "Talk Tools".
